Pilling Churches and Farm Yard Ales Walk – Saturday 8th June

Come and join us as we walk from Pilling to Churchtown

The first leg will be from Pilling Old Church (frozen in time since 1717) via the site of Newers Wood Chapel (Pilling’s Dark Age church) to Farm Yard Ales (a microbrewery on Gulf Lane, Cockerham) for some light refreshments.

The second leg will be from Farm Yard Ales via Nateby to Churchtown (where we can cool off in the beer garden of the Horns Inn). Interested? Please sign up in the café.

Like last year, we will hire some transport from the church car park to Pilling. Please assemble there at 10.30am

25th May 2019

Procession at 1pm.

Our queen this year is Chrissie Tripney.

If anyone would like to help at the Festival either setting up or on the day even if only for an hour, please ask them to contact the committee via or email me at
